KYC Verification Guide

Why KYC is required, what documents are accepted, and how review works.

KYC (Know Your Customer) is the identity verification process that StayVerse uses to confirm your identity. It is a legal requirement under Thai anti-money laundering regulations and a condition for signing any RTO contract.

Accepted Documents

  • Thai Citizens: Thai National ID card (บัตรประชาชน) — front and back required.
  • Foreign Nationals: Passport (photo/bio data page) — include any Thai visa stamp page. Long-term residents with a Thai national ID may also use that document.
  • Expired documents are not accepted.

How to Upload

  • Log in and go to Dashboard → Verification.
  • Click Start Verification.
  • Select your document type.
  • Upload clear photos of all required sides — no glare, no cropped edges.
  • Take a selfie holding your document when prompted.
  • Submit.

Verification Timeline

The compliance team reviews submissions manually during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM ICT). Most submissions are reviewed within 1–2 business days.

Document Privacy

All uploaded identity documents are encrypted at rest using AES-256 and stored only for as long as legally required under Thai AML regulations (5 years from contract completion). Documents are never shared with third parties except as required by law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
